Title
Substructure & External Works to Accommodate 2 x Beattie Passive Residential Homes

Description of the goods or services required
The project involves substructure and external works to accommodate two Beattie Passive ‘Haus4Two’ prefabricated residential units.
Works include external and foundations works including site drainage and service connections (Electric and Water inc Sprinkler Connections, BT, No Gas) ready to receive two 'Haus2two' Prefabricated units. Together with the construction of a traditionally built laundry room.
It should be noted that the Principal Contractor and any directly employed specialist sub-contractors must make themselves aware of the current disposition of the site prior to submission of the Construction Phase Health & Safety Plan and commencement of any work on site.
Preliminary ground investigations, including services investigations have been carried out and copies of
the information provided are included in the Appendices.
The Principal Contractor is to carry out their own investigations prior to excavation to locate all services within the site boundary or any other potential issues that may require specialist treatment and must ensure that these are fully identified during works on site to avoid accidental disturbance.
The programed commencement and completion dates are to be confirmed but anticipated start date is upon award in
November 2020.

Additional Information
Merthyr Valleys Homes are currently working on site plans for another site in Merthyr Tydfil which is to locate between 8 and 9 Beattie Passive homes.
This notice has been sent as a region specific notice. If you did not receive an alert about this you are not based in the specific region selected by the buying authority. Questions on why this was sent as a region specific notice should be sent to the buying authority.
