Short description of the contract or purchase(s)
Development and delivery of training to “Ask and Act”
The Welsh Government wishes to establish a contract to meet the training requirements of groups 2 and 3 of the National Training Framework which facilitate and support the Welsh Government policy of “Ask and Act”. Detailed draft guidance on both the National Training Framework and Ask and Act have been developed by the Welsh Government and this guidance should be considered in the formation of any tender.
This tender opportunity requires the creation of two far-reaching, integrated, national programmes of training which will ensure that within each region in Wales there is a cohort of practitioners with the skills and knowledge to support regional delivery of training which meets:
- the requirements for group 2 and 3 of the National Training Framework; and
- the delivery of these to regional trainers to support the rollout of “Ask and Act”.
The tender opportunity is offered for a period of three years with an opportunity to extend, on an annual basis, for a maximum period of two years. This training will form the basis of one of the largest and ambitious training programmes to be delivered in Wales. Over five years the Welsh Government expects over 35,000 public service professionals to receive this training, via the regional training consortia.
The contract will include provision of training through the medium of Welsh.
The Welsh Government, on behalf of the Welsh Ministers, will be conducting this procurement exercise through the etenderwales portal https://etenderwales.bravosolution.co.uk Tender documents and other information must be downloaded from and returned through this portal. If you require any further assistance the BravoSolution helpdesk is available on:
