The Materials Research Centre at the College of Engineering of Swansea University specialises in the synthesis, manufacturing and processing of a large range of materials with a particular emphasis placed on property characterization. The purchase of a SQUID magnetometer will widen the scope for researchers to carry out innovative studies on materials with functional magnetic and electronic response.
