Abstract

The domestic property portfolio of the Council comprises a mixture of social housing (approximately 13,785 properties in number) and other properties. The Council has 25 properties containing passenger lifts (made up of high rise and sheltered properties). Scope • Planned Lift Maintenance • Responsive Lift Repairs Structure The Council has concluded that its requirements are best achieved by procuring a Framework Agreement with a single Contractor delivering all elements (repair and maintenance). This provides continuity of responsibility including repair and maintenance. The following shows the structure of the Framework: Description of the Works Lift Installation Upgrades The following programme of lift upgrades is expected to be delivered via this Estimated Value & Volumes The following information is intended to assist bidders. It should be noted that the estimated values and volumes are indicative only, and may change dependent on demand and budget. The Council reserves the right to appoint a replacement contractor in the event of either the Contractors initially being appointed withdrawing from the Framework Agreement, or in the event that the Council terminates the agreement with either of the Contractors initially appointed.
