Description/object of the contract

The project will work through a social enterprise company, Asset Skills for Employment, to train unemployed people, including ex-offenders, using a pre-employment programme such as the Sector Routeways programme, as a preparation for work. Trained candidates will then be referred to employers who will be invited to place vacancies via the project. This is the only programme working with unemployed people to train them specifically for work in the business services sector.

Some 50 placements are planned in and around Cardiff, South Wales during the project which is planned for completion by March 2014.
