II.2.4) Description of the procurement
North Bristol NHS Trust, is seeking a service provider who will work with and support the Trust requirements, which will include, but not limited to the provision of soft facility management services at Cossham Hospital, Lodge Causeway, bristol and cleaning services at South Bristol Renal Unit, Knowle, Bristol and the Enablement Centre based at Highwood Pavilions, Jupiter Road, Patchway, Bristol.
These duties will include cleaning and other services as specified within the specification.
The service provider must be able to provide and demonstrate significant, proven experience and a proactive strategic level of support, whilst being aware of the challenges faced by the NHS.
Key provisions required are as follows:
— cleaning,
— housekeeping birthing suite and renal suite, provision of hotel services,
— stores management,
— portering,
— internal messenger,
— minor churn,
— clock management,
— feminine and baby hygiene,
— sanitary consumables.
A 3-year contract will be awarded to the successful contractor. The contract may be extended by a further 2 two-year periods by agreement of all parties and following regular performance review and achievement of key performance indicators.
