The department requires a contract for the rolling replacement of Provision of 3-6 Thermo Safe 2020 1.2 Microbiological Class II Safety Cabinets on an annual basis. Due to the shared nature of the tissue culture facilities in the Institute and the already 25 number of these particular models on site, trust gained in their performance and longevity other models will not be considered for purchase. In many cases and for experimental continuity, they will be fitted in rooms with existing stands in place without any need for room alerations, however in some rooms there may be alterations required. There will be a mix of recirculating and ducted cabinets purchased so please provide details for both. Also, the continuation of purchasing the Safe 2020 models allows the Institute to effectively manage user training, servicing and maintenance.
