Abstract

Scope of requirements – Brief Building on our engagement with SMEs through the Agile Nation 2 project this market research seeks to better understand current Equality Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) policy and practice in Wales, to determine what support will be required now and in the future to support inclusive working practices. The research should include the following activities: Secondary data analysis A market analysis of: businesses based in Wales both privately owned and PLC, segmented by size and sector, ideally with current turnover and number of employees. public sector organisations based in Wales with a description of their area of focus, number of employees and approximate size of the human resources team. Primary data collection Gather and analyse data to understand current EDI policy and practice across public bodies in Wales and privately owned and PLC businesses in Wales. Audience analysis Map existing networks related to: HR and leadership within the public sector in Wales. HR and leadership for up to six sectors identified in the data analysis research in Wales. Key Deliverables: Research report that sets out the market size and opportunity for products and services that support businesses to set and implement EDI commitments. Recommendations that support the development of Chwarae Teg’s strategy, and ensures alignment to market need. Throughout the delivery of this project, we will require regular progress reports as part of contract monitoring. Key milestones will be set as part of inception meetings with the successful bidder, to ensure that each stage of the project is informed by relevant evidence and analysis.
