Abstract
Conwy County Borough Council is seeking an Economic Development Consultancy to provide an economic impact assessment of the concept of removing stones from Llandudno North Shore Beach and replacing with sand.

- Provide a detailed analysis on the impact of replacing the stones on North Shore Beach with sand, including potential effects on tourism, local businesses and the wider North Wales region.
- Provide a detailed analysis on the impact of ‘doing nothing’ and keeping stones on North Shore beach. How will this affect tourism, local businesses and the wider North Wales region in years to come?
Provide an evidence based recommendation on whether a stone or sandy beach would provide greater economic benefit to Llandudno in order to ensure its continued success as a thriving seaside town and tourism destination.
