This document is an invitation to tender for upland footpath repair work on the slopes of Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon). It is intended for highly skilled and motivated professionals. The work is located at altitude and will need to be done without the aid of any machinery (all excavations and all stone manoeuvring done by hand). It is anticipated that the work will take 6 months to complete (subject to ground conditions)

Minimum standards and qualification required

Bidders must be highly skilled in stone pitching techniques, and must be highly motivated. Bidders must prove that they have a minimum of 5 years experience in this line of work. Prospective bidders may be required to provide proof of experience. This is a weighted contract where bidders are evaluated on their relevant experience as well as their tendered price submission.
