Under the terms of this contract the successful supplier(s) will be required to deliver Community Benefits in support of the authority’s economic and social objectives. Accordingly, contract performance conditions may relate in particular to social and environmental considerations. The Community Benefits included in this contract are:

It is Welsh Government Policy for publicly funded organisations to seek community benefits from the contracts that it places.

The College is seeking that the successful tenderer would provide two weeks of work placement/shadowing opportunity. This would be provided annually for each year of the contract.

The College would be interested in additional or alternative opportunities that the tenderer feels may be appropriate

Query Received and Response
Query - We are proposing to submit a tender for the proposed new sports hall but have noticed within your tender documents that the project will have to achieve a BREAM excellent. From our experience with this type of construction, we do not believe this to be achievable. Therefore please can you confirm that this is acceptable?

Response- BREEAM Excellent is a requirement for all new build projects as part of Welsh Government funding criteria therefore an appropriate form of design and construction will be required to achieve BREEAM Excellent
