North Bristol NHS Trust provides hospital and community healthcare to the residents of Bristol, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset together with a range of regional services. Our aim is to deliver exceptional healthcare for all patients and carers. Bristol Genetics Laboratory (BGL) includes Cytogenetics and Molecular Genetics disciplines, delivers a wide range of genetic analysis services to the UK and internationally for a wide variety of inherited and acquired genetic disorders. BGL is part of the UK National Genetics Network and is a partner organisation within the West of England NHS Genomic Medicine Centre involved in delivering the 100 000 Genome project. As part of an integrated pathology service, BGL works in close collaboration with colleagues in other Pathology disciplines, including PHEs South West laboratory service. BGL requires a DNA Extractor to provide an automated system for the extraction of genomic DNA from human derived sources incl but not limited to blood and saliva.

Bristol Genetics Laboratory has a requirement for a DNA Extractor. The machine is required to provide an automated system for the extraction of genomic DNA from human derived sources including but not limited to blood and saliva. The DNA Extractor needs to be supplied on a supply and install/commissioned basis.
