The Authority is seeking to procure a patient management system for the 3 audiology services; adult audiology, paediatric audiology and implant service.
The 3 respective audiology services currently use three separate computer systems, supplied and supported by 3 separate suppliers, to manage their patients. Each solution is internally hosted by the Authority on 3 separate instances of infrastructure equipment. By implementing a single solution across the 3 separate audiology services it is anticipated to deliver on-going financial benefits to the authority through a single maintenance and support charge and a single platform from which to operate the new solution from.
The solution delivered must be an “On-Premise” implementation and must be market ready, available “off the shelf”. This tender is not a software development opportunity.

II.2.4) Description of the procurement
The solution delivered must be an “On-Premise” implementation and is required to provide functionality to complete the following high level tasks:
— record all activities, appointments, outcomes and provide a link to the Authority’s primary patient record,
— fully configurable inputs for common fields between the services and service-specific fields,
— full clinical data comprising pure tone audiometry including high frequency, tympanometry, speech audiometry, hearing aid fitting data and live speech mapping,
— full demographic patient information, including patient attendance and clinical history,
— staff planning both clinical and administrative diary activities,
— ability to monitor stock including hearing aid tracking and barcoding (where services wish to use barcoding) and monitor device repairs,
— fully compatible interface with standard test and hearing aid fitting equipment,
— ability for services to create individual patient management plans including the storage of standard rehabilitation exercises and record of use,
— ability to import/export data from other services (i.e. if patients are relocating),
— report/letter templates and a link to the authority’s document management solution,
— ability to show patient-specific alerts,
— fully configurable reporting capability.
