Abstract

The Vale of Glamorgan Council (“the Council”) requires an assessment of its land holdings to determine the extent to which they are currently being managed effectively for biodiversity and the scale of the opportunity to change management to meet the 30% target by 2030. Additionally, working in collaboration with the Vale Nature Partnership, it also wishes to assess how much of the land, coastal and marine area is currently being managed effectively for biodiversity and the scale of the opportunity to change management and land use to meet the 30% target by 2030.

Description of the goods or services required

The Vale of Glamorgan Council (“the Council”) requires an assessment of its land holdings to determine the extent to which they are currently being managed effectively for biodiversity and the scale of the opportunity to change management to meet the 30% target by 2030. Additionally, working in collaboration with the Vale Nature Partnership, it also wishes to assess how much of the land, coastal and marine area is currently being managed effectively for biodiversity and the scale of the opportunity to change management and land use to meet the 30% target by 2030.

Bidders must submit their proposal for providing the Services. The proposal should include:

i. How the assessment and action plan will be delivered;

ii. Detail of the team members, their experience and skills and the extent of their projected involvemnet in the project:

iii. Detail of the consultancies experience of carrying out similar work gving examples;

iv. Demonstration of GIS skills;

v. Evidence of partnership working;

vi. The cost.
