The University of Cambridge, Department of Physiology Development and Neuroscience provides modern laboratory accommodation and state of art research facilities. The aim of the new Cambridge Advanced Imaging Centre is to bring together talented teams of physical scientists, biologists and computer scientists from across departments of the University. Working in this dedicated facility, they will combine biological and technological research goals to develop the very latest capabilities in biological imaging methods, inspired directly by questions in biomedical research. New technologies will be put directly into service alongside existing state‐of‐the‐art light and electron microscopes, in a facility with computational support for data processing, storage and image analysis, to accelerate internationally competitive biological research.
