The Mayor's Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC), as the contracting authority for the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) Marine Unit, has a requirement for the Provision of spares, parts, training and warranty for Volvo Penta Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) engines.
The majority of the engines that the boat yard maintain are Volvo Penta OEM engines and therefore the MPS requires Volvo Penta (OEM) or equivalent industry standard spares, parts, training and warranty provision to be provided under this contract.
