Explanation
Due to a delay in go-live of a new solution an extension of the existing contract until the 14th June 2024 is required at short notice. It is critical that the service provided is maintained to provide uninterrupted ability to provide Primary Care workforce information for reporting, analysis and planning.
A competitive tender exercise was concluded in August 2023 with the intention of being fully operational by the beginning of April 2024. There is a need to use the current software package for a further 74 days for the new solution to be implemented before the end of June 2024.
