Cwrt Rawlin Primary School, Delivery Childcare

Description of the goods or services required

The following is a call for competition for Cwrt Rawlin Primary School.

Cwrt Rawlin Primary School have a childcare unit on the school site to support the delivery of childcare places to the children and families of the local area. The childcare places they would like to provide include:

• A morning and afternoon playgroup/wrap around.

• School Holiday Provision to support local children during school holidays, including those accessing the Childcare Offer for Wales.

The provider may also be required to deliver Assisted and Supported Places and in particular to support delivery of childcare places under the Childcare Offer for Wales.

The childcare provision would operate from the childcare unit.

The school Governing Body is inviting Expressions of Interest (EOI) from childcare providers who are registered with Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) to develop this provision. The EOI is open to existing providers who wish to develop new satellite provisions, new providers and to childminders who wish to register as a group-based provision for 2-year-olds and upwards.

It is anticipated that this provision will be registered ready for delivery from September 2024

Interested childcare providers are being requested to provide an expression of interest in line with the attached expression of interest document.

In conjunction with the Local Authority Early Years Department and advice and guidance from Procurement, the Governors of the school will follow a three stage process to select the most suitable childcare provider

Stage One - Expression of Interest from the Childcare provider

Stage Two - Interview

Stage Three - Preferred Bidder Stage, Vetting and Toolkits
