Q. Is there a set budget for the proposal? A. There is no fixed budget for the project. The scope of the project is not finalised and items may be removed from the list of requirements.

Q1. What will be the name of the brand? Q2 If no name in place are you looking for a name? Q3. Will the new brand for Vale of Glamorgan Heritage Coast and Countryside be used as the main corporate brand for the Vale of Glamorgan? A1 and A2. The project is currently referred to as 'Vale Trails'. We are happy to promote this as the brand name for walking trails or consider any alternatives you may suggest. A3. Branding proposals for the Glamorgan Heritage Coast and Countryside are still under development.

Q&A Packaging for coastal tails suite
Q1. What is the specification for packaging for the Coastal Trails suite? A1. Consideration should be given to the means of packaging the coastal trail leaflets so that they can be distributed as a single resource or as individual components (3.2 refers). There is no specification for this item as we have no preconceived ideas on the type of packaging appropriate.

The size of the waymarkers has been specified incorrectly at 9.5mm diameter. The correct size for the waymarkers is 9.5cm diameter.

Q1. Is there scope to add an app for visitors to download maps etc? Q2 Are there plans for a dedicated Vale Trails website? A1. Development of an app does not form part of the commission. We are interested in ideas on app development but consideration of these will not form part of assessment of quotations.A2. There are no plans for a dedicated Vale Trails website but the Visit the Vale website will be updated to provide a much higher profile for walking in the Vale and Vale Trails will feature prominently within it.

Q&A interpretation of brief
Q. Is the successful bidder required to walk the trails in their entirety so that they are thoroughly checked out and researched first hand? A. The successful bidder will be expected to familarise themselves with all of the routes and it would be reasonable to expect this to involve walking all routes.
