Abstract

Oriel Myrddin Gallery is located within the former School of Art building on Church Lane within the Old Town of Carmarthen. The building is Grade II listed and located opposite St Peter’s Church with the Carmarthen Town Library located across King Street. Oriel Myrddin wants to develop the proposals so that the building can be fully renovated and enhanced in a sensitive and exemplary way to include extending the building and providing more exhibition space, appropriate access, external space and the creation of a café so that the gallery can thrive. Oriel Myrddin Trust has taken the decision not to subdivide this contract into lots. This is to ensure the contract is lead by a primary consultant and the subsequent management is driven by one leading provider for the duration. CPV: 71220000, 71220000.
