Abstract

Newport High School's current catering contract is due to expire on 31 April 2016 and it invites bids from providers experienced in providing this requirement. It should be noted that the school wishes to appoint a proactive provider who has the ability and desire to make continual improvements within the catering department in the areas of product range, product quality and the level of service offered to learners and staff alike. The Council believes that TUPE (Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) applies to this procurement. The new contract will be for a five year period with an option to extend for two, year upon year. For the avoidance of doubt this procurement falls under the Light Touch Regime within the Public Procurement Regulations 2015 and as such is governed by Regulations 74 - 77. CPV: 55524000, 55523100.
