Ceredigion County Council is inviting tenders for the Supply and Delivery of Fresh Meat products to Council establishments within the county. The Framework Agreement will be for a period of 2 years with an option to extend for a further 2 years.

Under the terms of this contract the successful supplier(s) will be required to deliver Community Benefits in support of the authority’s economic and social objectives. Accordingly, contract performance conditions may relate in particular to social and environmental considerations. The Community Benefits included in this contract are:
The requirement is a commitment from the contractor to the recruitment and retention of apprentices, these opportunities can be attributed to the food and drink sector as well as other areas of the business, for example sales and finance roles
In particular the contractor should consider making available at least 1 opportunity for an individual working towards a higher apprenticeship at level 4 and a commitment to recruit an apprentice(s) at level 2 with a commitment to progression to level 3 in year 2.
The contractor may also want to consider engagement with Jobs Growth Wales to offer a minimum of 1 opportunity per year.
The contractor is welcome to include any additional Community Benefits in addition to the requirements above
