Short description of the contract or purchase(s)
The National Procurement Service wishes to establish a collaborative agreement for the provision of a Rock Salt Framework for the Welsh Public Sector. Areas included in this framework are:
- Provision of Rock Salt
- Provision of Marine Salt
- Provision of PDV Salt
- Provision of innovative or specialist de-icing products
This Framework will be made available to the Customers of the National Procurement Service (NPS), which currently comprises of 73 Welsh public sector organisations.
In addition, the Framework will also be available to the organisations that are clearly referenced within the ITT documentation.
NPS is hosted by the Welsh Government and aims to deliver value for money from the procurement of common and repetitive goods and services by "buying once for Wales".

National Procurement Service has adopted Constructionline, the UK Government certification service for construction-related contractors, consultants and material suppliers to reduce the administration burden on suppliers wishing to apply for this opportunity.
