Abstract

The Authority is seeking to procure an Address Matching Software application. NWIS needs to ensure accurate and up-to-date address information is held within the systems operated throughout NHS Wales. To support this through access to a comprehensive Nationwide Address Gazetteer, NHS Wales is now a member of the Public Sector Mapping Agreement (PSMA). Whilst public sector organisations are no longer required to fund licence fees to access Royal Mail PAF and OS AddressBase datasets, a software solution is required to enable the use of the data within existing systems. To meet this objective a project has been initiated to develop a single, validated and consistent solution that provides address information to all NHS Wales National Systems. This is in line with our overarching strategy of doing things ‘Once for NHS Wales’. With reference to the ‘Public Sector Mapping Agreement’ the application must provide address matching capabilities underpinned by the Ordnance Survey (OS) AddressBase Premium Product and an ‘On-Premise’ implementation supporting integration into various internal applications. The solution offered must be market ready, available ‘off the shelf’ and already proven to have been deployed at other customer sites. This tender is not a software development opportunity. An Enterprise or equivalent license arrangement is required which allows the Authority to deliver its services as described without restriction. CPV: 48000000, 48611000.

Short description of the contract or purchase(s)
