Abstract

This contract is to conduct a survey across Wales between March 2016 and March 2021 (with the option to extend fieldwork to March 2022) and supply the resulting data to the Welsh Government. The survey will provide the Welsh Government and its partner organisations with robust information on the characteristics, circumstances, and views of people across Wales. The content of the survey will evolve over time to ensure it continues to meet the needs of stakeholders. The survey will be a face-to-face, random sample, continuous survey of people across Wales living in private households. The main requirements are: - to achieve a minimum sample size of 12,000 people a year; - to collect high-quality data and to achieve a response rate which is equal to or exceeds those obtained for surveys with similar designs; and - to deliver final weighted datasets within six weeks of the completion of each 12 month fieldwork period, based on all cases achieved during that period. The budget available is GBP0.3m in 2015-16, GBP1.7m – 2m in each of 2016-17 and 2017-18, and GBP1.8m – 2.1m per financial year thereafter (excluding VAT, and including inflation over the life of the contract). The Welsh Government reserves the right not to consider bids that are above the range specified. CPV: 79311100, 79311200, 79311300, 79311000, 79311210.
