Short description of the contract or purchase(s)
Pembrokeshire County Council are the lead authority in terms of this framework arrangement on behalf of the Welsh Purchasing Consortium (WPC). Consequently all documentation will be issued by and must be returned to them. The Framework Agreement will enable the participating Authorities, together with any other specified Employers to appoint providers of Mobile Catering Furniture and the subsequent servicing, repair and maintenance. The initial scoping exercise used to gauge the level of interest resulted in Eight Authorities stating that they were potentially ‘interested’ in participating in this framework. These were:
- Neath Port Talbot CBC
- Pembrokeshire CC
- Vale of Glamorgan CBC
- City & County of Swansea
- Caerphilly CBC
- Carmarthenshire CC
- Merthyr Tydfil CBC
- Bridgend CBC
All other WPC member Authorities as listed below did not respond to the Scoping but may choose to use this Framework agreement in the future.

The Framework will be awarded to two suppliers and will cover the items listed in the Specification. Please note that there is no guarantee on the number of individual authorities who will subsequently contract via this framework.

Lodging of appeals
Pembrokeshire County Council will incorporate a minimum 10 calendar day standstill period at the point information on the award of the contract is communicated to tenderers. This period allows unsuccessful tenderers to seek further debriefing from the contracting authority before the contract is entered into. Applicants have 2 working days from the notification of the award decision to request additional debriefing and that information has to be provided a minimum of 3 working days before the expiry of the standstill period. Such additional information should be required from I.1.
