The Welsh Timber Forum's role is to act as the Trading company for the Wales Forest Business Partnership (WFBP). WFBP works through several initiatives to encourage the use of homegrown timber in order to add value for the grower, processor or manufacturer and to make best use of this sustainable resource in Wales. We provide support,advice and information for specifiers, designers, architects and manufacturers concerning the use of timber in construction, innovative timber building design and detailing as well as assistance with the supply chain required for specific project work. We provide linkage between wood fuel supplier and the potential purchaser, through our 'Woodfuel Wales' initiative and its informative web site and supplier directory and a wood products and services directory on the WFBP website.
