Abstract

The purpose of this document is to invite applications from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for a Contract, which will run for three years (with an option to extend for a further 24 months). The total value of the works over three years will be in the region of £2,100,000 In order to participate in this tender, contractors are required to be Constructionline registered and CHAS compliant (or equivalent), they must be GasSafe, HETAS, MCS and OFTEC registered, and must hold relevant levels of insurance as specified. The appointed Contractors will be expected to undertake fully comprehensive inspection, testing, servicing, maintenance and breakdown response of domestic appliances for space heating and hot water in Powys County Council The successful Contractor is required to provide the services as described in the Invitation to Tender Documents and particularly Part 6 Operation, Requirements and Specifications. The successful Contractors will be required to carry out this service in the Lot area they are awarded to for all fuel types. A Heating and Services team within the Housing section of Powys County Council manages the delivery of the services specified in the tender documents. The asset list is included in Appendix 3. Contractors should note that in addition to domestic appliances there are two Commercial gas boilers installations included in Lot 1 -- North Please refer to the Specifications as shown in Section 6 for further information. Section 7 of these documents contains the Terms and Conditions of this contract. The Council’s is to appoint two Contractors to the Contract, one to each Lot below, who will manage and carry out the work as described in these documents, in the work area (or Lot) they are awarded: Contractors can only apply for one lot.The two work areas are: Lot 1 - - North area of Powys Lot 2 - - South area of Powys CPV: 71630000, 50531100, 50531200, 50720000.
