Description:
The Police and Crime Commissioner for Gwent have a set of FM Electronics Alarms for sale. These Alarms were purchased in 2006 from the supplier FM Electronics, and are no longer required. There are full and part sets for sale, made up of 39 full sets and 6 part sets. Each set has been tested as OK. Further details of the sets are available as an attachment to this notice. A full set comprises of 2 Peli cases; one containing the alarm equipment, and one (accessory case) containing the PIRs, remote device, pendant and power adapter. An information sheet showing the Peli Case and introduction to the system, to help in the understanding of what the equipment does is available as an attachment to this notice. Gwent Police have removed out TETRA handsets from the alarm units, and any force or agency taking the equipment would need to install their own TETRA or GSM communications device. If an interested party were to need the capability of receiving the alarms at a control room type environment, they would need to obtain the software directly from FM Electronics, for licensing purposes.
